Are you looking for something to do during the daylight hours of your 21st birthday? How about having a scavenger hunt party? This is something that you can do with your friends that can carry on through out the entire day. Many people fail to consider this because they view scavenger hunts as a kids game. However, all you have to do to make it a fun adult activity is to change what you’re looking to find. There are two main types of items to scavenge. There are actual physical items to collect and then photographs or other proof of activities. ![]()
When you think 21st birthday ideas for a scavenger hunt, drinking and bar items are a must. Make sure to include specific bar napkins, coasters or even matchbooks on your list. Another fun thing to do is to create a list of drinks that perhaps aren’t known to the person turning 21. I’m thinking of a dirty panty, a slippery nipple, a grasshopper or even a a rusty nail. Those are all drinks and a photo of the person drinking one should count as well as an actual a dirty panty.
Here are a few possible things to get your list started.
- Person with a concert tee shirt
- Person who plays instrument
- 5 used drink napkins
- Phone # from stranger
- Business card
- Picture of someone with a mullet
- Convincing a stranger to chug a drink against you
- A tattoo with lettering
- A butterfly tatto
- Get a kiss that leaves lipstick on your cheek
- Find a coin with the birthday person year on it
- Pump a stranger’s gas — take a picture of it
- Buy 50 cents of gas — keep the receipt
- Get some one to serenade you — take a picture of it
- Get a picture of a family with 4 or more kids
- Pictures with a person in uniform
- Pictures of fireman…extra points if you get pictures on a truck
- Pictures on an escalator
- 2 people kissing
- Bring back a bumper sticker
- Pictures with a biker
- Man/woman in bathing suit
- Picture with a mannequin
- Picture with a clown
- Picture with horse/cow
- Worst hair Picture
What ever activities you think would be fun. Think of truth or dare type activities. It’s even better to assign points based on their difficulty and not just grade on the pure number of items found. Make sure to have a prize at the end. If you can’t think of a great prize for the winner, make a horrible prize for the last place finisher. Either one gets people to play
